Gospel Tract Orders for the next week
If you are in need of some gospel tracts or other evangelistic resources in the next week or so, then make sure you get your order in by 2pm tomorrow (Friday 2nd Sep). This will ensure your order can be posted out tomorrow, since next week no orders will be able to be posted out. The following week (12th Sep onwards) postage of orders will be back to normal.

All Fines Dropped!
As you may know, since August 2010 ten members of the Gold Coast Operation 513 outreach team have been fined $375, totalling $3750. We elected to have each heard in court. But just last week, the Gold Coast sent a letter to everyone who was fined informing them that all the fines have been dropped. They blamed it on an ambigiuty of their own law. Praise God that common sense prevailed! Thank you for your prayers.

Further Confirmation about Illegitimacy of the Fines
If you have been following the situation that has been happening at the Gold Coast, you would be aware that we have received 10 fines for $375 each - 4 for preaching, and the remaining 6 for handing out gospel tracts. Two of the fines given for preaching have subsequently been dropped, but the rest, we are told, will go to court.
If you read last week's Battle Log report, I wrote about how the council's permits division explicitly stated that gospel tracts do not break any of their local laws. On this last Friday's outreach, we had further developments on this. One of the original Local Law compliance officer's who fined us the very first time said something very interesting. First of all, I have posted the Battle Log report from the 4 February 2011 where a preacher was arrested at the Gold Coast.

Australia Day Outreach
Jesus has commanded all Christians to go and make disciples. So this Australia Day let's share the message of the cross to the countless number of people who do not know the Lord.
